How to Care for and Maintain Your LED Neon Sign

LED neon signs are built to be low-maintenance, but a few simple habits will keep yours looking and working like new for years.

Cleaning

Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid spraying liquid cleaners directly on the sign — if it needs a deeper clean, lightly dampen the cloth instead of spraying, and always unplug the sign first.

Powering it on and off

LED neon is fine left on for long stretches, but switching it off when you leave a room or business overnight is good practice for both your electricity bill and the components' long-term lifespan.

Indoor vs. outdoor placement

Standard signs are built for indoor use. If you're considering an outdoor or semi-outdoor spot (a covered patio, a shopfront under an awning), mention that when you order, since exposure to direct rain or extreme heat needs to be planned for at the design stage, not after installation.

Mounting and handling

Every sign ships with a backboard designed for wall mounting — avoid bending or flexing the backboard itself, and lift by the backboard's edges rather than pulling on the neon tubing when repositioning it.

If something stops working

Message us on WhatsApp with your order details if any part of your sign stops lighting up — most issues are a loose connector or adapter, which is a quick fix rather than a sign of a bigger problem.
